The magic of herbs and spices.

A few years ago we were forced to stop using our standard seasonings …salt and
pepper.   So, I’ve been experimenting with many other seasonings.
Now we enjoy all our meals much more, and we’re getting lots more beneficial nutrients  …because of the rich array of herbs and spices we’re using today.
The herbs we use the most are:Oregano (every day) “contains an impressive list of plant derived chemical compounds that are known to have disease preventing and health
promoting properties.”
Fresh basil (every day) “contains exceptionally high levels of beta-carotene, vitamin A, cryptoxanthin, lutein and zea-xanthin.”  Plus, smaller amounts of garlic, ginger, rosemary, sage,thyme and turmeric.
For spices, we use a lot of cinnamon (every day) “has the highest anti-oxidant strength of all the food sources in nature”, and smaller amounts of cloves, coriander,and cumin.
Also, you should know that we include a lot of nuts and seeds in our diet. mostly
almonds “among the richest sources of health-benefiting nutrients essential for optimum health”, and flax seed and pumpkin seeds too.
